Explore Scientific 72° ED Series 8.5mm Waterproof Eyepiece - EPWP7285ED-01
The Explore Scientific 72 degree ED 8.5mm eyepiece with a 1.25 inch barrel offers a versatile balance between magnification and field of view, making it a reliable option for both planetary observation and detailed views of smaller deep sky objects.
Its 72 degree apparent field of view creates a wide and immersive viewing experience that helps keep objects in view longer while maintaining a natural sense of scale. This makes it easier to observe comfortably without constant adjustment.
The extra low dispersion glass enhances image quality by reducing color fringing and improving contrast. This results in cleaner, sharper views where fine detail stands out more clearly.
Whether observing planetary features or resolving structure within star clusters, the image remains crisp and well defined. The eyepiece is designed with user comfort in mind. Long eye relief allows for extended viewing sessions without strain and makes it accessible for those who wear glasses.
This focal length is particularly useful as an all around performer, offering enough magnification to reveal detail while still maintaining a stable and easy to use viewing experience.
