Explore Scientific 72° ED Series 6.5mm Waterproof Eyepiece - EPWP7265ED-01
The Explore Scientific 72 degree ED 6.5mm eyepiece with a 1.25 inch barrel is designed for high magnification viewing with exceptional clarity and contrast. It is an ideal choice for observing fine detail on the Moon, planets, and other compact celestial objects where precision matters most.
With a 72 degree apparent field of view, this eyepiece provides a wide and immersive perspective while maintaining the control needed for detailed observation. This balance allows you to stay locked onto your target longer without constantly repositioning, even at higher magnifications.
The use of extra low dispersion glass plays a critical role in image quality. By reducing chromatic aberration, the eyepiece delivers sharper, higher contrast views with more accurate color representation.
Subtle differences in planetary tones and fine surface details become easier to distinguish, creating a more refined observing experience. Comfort is also a key part of the design. The generous eye relief makes this eyepiece well suited for extended viewing sessions and accessible for those who wear glasses. The result is a viewing experience that feels natural and relaxed, even when observing at higher power.
This eyepiece is an excellent addition for those who want to push their telescope’s performance further and explore the finer details of the night sky.
