Explore Scientific 72° ED Series 11.5mm Waterproof Eyepiece - EPWP72115ED-01
The Explore Scientific 72 degree ED 11.5mm eyepiece with a 1.25 inch barrel is a highly versatile option that delivers a balanced combination of magnification, brightness, and field of view. It is well suited for a wide range of observing targets, from lunar and planetary detail to deep sky exploration.
With a 72 degree apparent field of view, this eyepiece provides an expansive and immersive perspective that enhances the overall observing experience. Objects remain in view longer, allowing for more relaxed and continuous observation.
The use of extra low dispersion glass improves clarity and contrast by minimizing chromatic aberration. This results in more accurate color representation and sharper detail, particularly when observing objects that require precision. The comfortable eye relief supports extended viewing sessions and makes the eyepiece accessible to a wide range of users, including those who wear glasses.
This focal length is an excellent choice for observers who want a dependable eyepiece that performs well across multiple types of celestial targets.
