Starfield Optics Gear Series 80mm F/6 APO ED Triplet Telescope with Reducer - G80-06EDT
The Starfield ED80 f/6 Triplet APO will take your wide field imaging game to new levels. Using FPL53 (Ohara, Japan) optics, this telescope comes standard with heavy duty rings, extra long vixen style dovetail, and a handle designed to mount accessories. Weighing in at only 7.7 lbs, a large heavy mount is not needed.
The 2.5" Rack and Pinion 2 speed focuser is designed to hold up to 12 lbs of gear. and a retractable dew shield is held in place with a single screw. No more rubber bands to keep it in place! To make your imaging experience even better the Camera Angle Rotator will let you frame up your object easily without adding flex or changing your focuser position.
An optional dedicated 0.8x reducer speeds up the optics making this a f/4.8 imaging instrument. Perfect for those really large objects and wide field imaging.
Multicoated optics are standard, and each Gear series telescope comes with a hard case and optical test report.
