Lunt LS50F Hydrogen-Alpha Front-Mounted Etalon System w/ B1200 Blocking Filter
To measure for your adapter plate take a measurement of the outside diameter of the dew shield on your refractor telescope. If measuring in inches, multiply the measurement by 25.4 to find your measurement in millimeters.
The LS50F offers more aperture for brighter views and finer detail, using the same center-supported etalon design as the LS40F. At 50mm, the increased light grasp enhances both visual observing and imaging potential while maintaining a <0.65 angstrom bandpass.
Tilt tuning keeps operation straightforward—angle the housing to center the H-alpha line and you're observing. No pressure systems, no external controls.
The LS50F includes a B1200 blocking filter (6mm clear aperture, for focal lengths up to 540mm) and a custom adapter plate. Provide your objective cell diameter at checkout and we'll machine the adapter to fit—at no additional cost for objective housings up to 4 inches.
